Genovesa (bird island)

This island was pretty amazing as well. It is uninhabitated by people, but has hundreds of birds! It is hard for me to even see anything other than birds living on this island--they have taken it over!

Red footed boobie. My favorite bird on the Galapagos!! This is the "brown" kind--that make up 90% of the red footed boobies. There are also "white" red footed boobies. These birds are found in other places of the world where the percentages are reversed!

This is a nasca boobie with its egg! We saw tons of this kind of bird with their "ugly little ducklings" (first picture).
